A wall hung piece made from two opposing chunks of Douglas fir bark. The bark has a deep intricate texture of overlocking plates which have been built up over years of growth to form a thick protective layer for the tree. Arranged here to create a crevasse which draws your eyes into the texture of this beautiful material.

The bark has been responsibly sourced from fallen or dead trees whose bark has naturally fallen to the floor and no trees have been have been harmed in the process.

Framed in a solid hardwood frame and stained black to enhance the barks natural tones
